Founded and run by Deborah Bennett, Ph.D., it offers specialist training in research communication and English for research publication purposes for post-graduate students and faculty members.
BETA training is designed to help researchers develop the English communication skills they need to further their academic career. Deborah Bennett, BETA’s founder, draws on her experience in both scientific research and in language training to develop short, intensive training courses for small groups or individuals at research institutions across Germany, the UK and the wider European research community. All courses are tailored to individual requirements and use authentic, relevant materials. Clients include university research groups, independent research institutes, university hospital centres for clinical research, and private companies.
